Accessing submit button to perform an action

Hi

This may seem a crazy simple question for using the API but have to ask to confirm

Is it possible to access the submit button on a typeform and make it trigger the action of matching the responses from the same form against stored data on our database ?

Using the APIs, how would you go about doing that if you cant access the submit button and assign it an action?

  1. User fills form out
  1. Onclick of submit button >  starts the matching process

appreciate any feedback! thanks in advance

Hi @johnny.lee thanks for stopping by! We do have the onSubmit callback available, which you can learn more about here. Would this help with what you’re looking to build?

hey Liz...thanks a lot….much appreciated!  Looks to be spot on for what we need...having a developer check it out now. :relaxed:
