Workaround for GTM and Stripe payment integration

Hi there,

GTM is blocked if you have a Stripe account linked to your Typeform. Does anyone have any work around or 3rd party services I can use on my site for setting up a conversion event on people who check out?

We were using the native Typeform GTM integration but IDK if there is another way of tracking this.

Hi @NickPlatt Passing payment information outside of our payment integration poses a security issue in the platform. I’m afraid we aren’t able to provide any workarounds for this, but hopefully this helps provides some context as to why this data doesn’t send to GTM or GA.

Hey @NickPlatt

You can’t have both Stripe and GTM in the same form for some obvious security reasons.

tell us more, what happens after people submitted their form?
Are they redirected somewhere? If that’s the case, you can probably add the conversation tracker on this url too?

Otherwise you can also implement it in the backend, using webhook, it will trigger every time a new submission comes in.

What do you think?
