Using ActiveCampaign for Send to multiple people (and use merge tags)

AlexReisch

I use ActiveCampaign as an email tool and want to make my follow-up more efficient with VideoAsk.

This is the html code I inserted after true.

#contact_name=%FIRSTNAME%&contact_email=%EMAIL%

These are the variables I can use in AC

First name= %FIRSTNAME%

Email= %EMAIL%

Instructions for Mailchimp can be found here.

https://www.videoask.com/help/sharing/360047556311-send-a-videoask-from-your-own-email-or-marketing-tool

I adapted this for ActiveCampaign, unfortunately without success.

Can anyone help here?

Hey @AlexReisch I know you’ve been speaking to @Anael VA about this one but just thought I would drop in a message here to double check all is working now?

I think the fix was to add the variables to the two URLs in the code, hope that works!

Hey Alex,

Thanks for your question 😊

Just wondering, did the contact details not pull through as expected to the videoask, or did the embed not work in the email?

Great thanks for confirming @AlexReisch will take a look, my first thought was does it need an extra ? before the variables, but I’ll see what else I can find out!
