sorry for the delay but i wanted to test something out myself. 

There is a difference between redirects and submits to ending pages - subtle but important: when you use the redirect option, it will go directly to the link you put in the redirect and never go to the ending pages. 

The help centre text is not what i would call 100% clear on this. 

If you want to go to the ending pages, as you have shown by using the multiple choice question, then DON”T use the redirect. 

see this example that i worked up using the multiple choice question version similar to what you started. 

I also worked up an example using redirect upon completion and the picture choice as shown in the help text you pointed out. what i did NOT do is show the actual form labels as they do in the help text 

Please note: you can only have one redirect upon completion URL base BUT you can pass the details to that URL from the ‘answer’ from a question like that picture question  or from a variable that you create

in this last example i have used the multiple choice question style to capture the answer and to add the specific typeform instance text to a variable called target which is then appended to the redirect url (the logic is in the image below)

Hope this helps to point you in the right direction to get the languages set up for your form
