Decimal point numbers in a number question
Hello,I'm thinking about creating a typeform for an e-commerce site, where users will be able to create a complaint about their orders, however, not all products are sold as integer values, some of them are sold by weight, and so, I need a number question to allow people to enter things like 1.7 or 2.3.I this possible on Typeform? I wasn't able to find a way to do so.
Is it possible to have endings for each individual question?
Hey everyone! I am attempting to create a trivia-based Typeform. My goal is to have multiple categories by using question groups so that people can choose what type of questions they want to see (i.e. Stadiums, People, Managers).I would also like for each question to conclude with an ending based on the person’s response. If they get it right, they get a congrats and additional info. If they get it wrong they can try again. I’ve attempted to do this using endings, but I want to have separate endings after each question and then move people to the next question. Is this possible? Thanks for the help.
Data collection form for dietary requirements of guests before an event
I work for a company that delivers immersive theatre and dining experiences. As part of this, once someone purchases ticket/s to one of our shows, we send out a dietary request form. At the moment we are hosting this is in a Google Form and I’d like to replicate this in Typeform. Two reasons being, 1. a more professional experience for customers and 2. Typeform integrates with our marketing platform which means I can send the form responses to use in emails (including referencing the submitted details). I am coming into multiple issues that I’m hoping someone can share solutions to. In an ideal world, this would be the flow and format of the form. Question 1 - Contact form (including name, email, phone number) Question 2 - Date question of what performance they will be attending Question 3 - How many guests/tickets do you have - NUMBER Question 4 - This could be a list of the dietary options (no requirements, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, allergens, other) where you would
I want to ask a ranking question, but some of the choices may not be applicable
helpful button in an end screen
Hello,I’m pretty new with typeform and I would need your help :)I’ve done a quiz, with logic and scores and different endings according to the score and so far all was perfect! What I would need now, would be the possibility to ask, possibly in each different ending, if the quiz was useful (it is an educational quiz about online security)...is there any way to add a button asking if the quiz was helpful? or a way to send the user to another content type asking for that? Thanks in advance,Annalisa
Autosave not working for embedded typeforms
I have several Typeforms embedded in my Thinkific site. I have enabled autosave in the Typeforms so that users can step out and their responses will be saved for the next time they come back to the Typeform. However, the embedded Typeforms are not autosaving. Each time a user leaves and returns, they get a new Typeform, not the one they left partially filled. How to correct this?
How to create a personality test with score/letter logic (with multiple personalities results)
Hi community!I am rather new to Typeform but I’ve been struggling with creating a personality test for the past weeks! I would like to create a test with 10 different personalities, knowing that each person can have multiple personalities. However, it seems like on Typeform you can just use the score logic or the outcome logic. Let’s dive in an example:Question 1 has 10 answers (multiple choice) Question 2 has 16 answers (multiple choice) ….Each answer represents a personality, and each person can have multiple personalities, how can I associate each answer with one personality? I tried both given logics. The score logic doesn’t work in that case because as said, you can have multiple personalities, and the outcome logic doesn’t work because it’s a multiple choice question. For me it sounds very easy to just associate the first personality with a score like “A”, the second one with “B” etc. but it doesn’t seem you can do it on Typeform. Ideally, I want a results that says: “Thank you f
Help! Accidentally deleted "Section" which then deleted all of my questions
After working on a new survey for 2+ hours, I realized that the template I’d been using had broken questions down into sections. I no longer needed this organization as all of my questions were now in one section together, so I clicked on the parent section and deleted it. It instantly deleted every question I’d been working on and now the survey is blank. Is there any way to pull up the history of changes so that I don’t have to start from scratch?! Seems like something that people might accidentally do often and hate that I can’t find any sort of option to undo.
Overriding Typeform CSS
Whilst using our Typeform on mobile (at https://firstname.lastname@example.org) the button sticks to the bottom of the page. If I reduce the height of the embed, the button goes up and sits nicely under the text, however, on the first question the form is affected by this change and shrinks down. So, I am asking whether I can move this button up without affecting the Typeform size. I have tried to use “transform: translate(0px, -280px)” to move this up but the Typeform style keeps overriding it. Is there anyway that we can move this button up? Thank you!
How do I loop through a question multiple times?
For example, on question 3 the user can enter the number of times they have eaten at a restaurant. For each time, they fill in a series of questions about the experience (did they have a drink? if so, what? did they order an appetizer, etc). I want to have the same set of questions that repeat 1 to n times where n is the answer to question 3. I DO NOT want to have to duplicate the question for every possible value of n. It could be a large number and frustrating to the user if they can’t include every experience. Thanks!
How do I edit Messages once and for all?
When I load the Messages in French, the texts load all say "Vous".But in French, it is possible to say "Tu", to make it more user-friendly.And I also like to add a little humor in my Messages.Isn't there an option, which would allow me to customize the French option, so that I don't have to redo the manipulation, every time I create a new Typeform?
Quizz - calculate your age
Hello Community, I am building a quizz like this one https://www.florahealth.com/pages/biological-age where you can calculate your biological age. I am adding score to every potential answer. My question is - how i can add all the scores from the answers in order to calculate the age at the end of the quizz? Thanks,
a Dropdown menu situation
Hello,We use the Typeform for getting feedback about social workshops for elementary school kids. One of the questions is what school do you go to? and then there is a dropdown list of 4217 schools… a lot… Problem is, when the kids open the dropdown menu, the typing frame/line is located at the top of the screen, so they do not notice it. Instead of typing and getting help navigating to their school’s name, they scroll down hundreds of names, then give up and randomly choose a name- which of course doesn’t serve our statistics.I would like to please point out that a design problem exists on that specific screen, and that it should be designed to stress out the typing and not the scrolling. The typing line/frame literally camouflages at the top, and this is the stage in the questionnaire when we get so many misunderstandings, confusion and mistakes. How can I please forward it to Typeform user experience professionals? Thank you :)
Automatically add commas for numbers
Hi All, I’ve created a typeform that asks users to input project budgets in order to generate a quote based on that input as well as a series of questions. The issue is that these budget inputs and the generated quotes may have a significant number of digits in them. Looking at these numbers without commas can be very confusing (especially if there are a series of 0’s).Is there a way for a number question input to have a currency symbol, as well as automatically add commas every three digits? Same thing for a calculated variable (though I know I can manually add a $ sign before the variable in the question). If this is unclear, you can check out the typeform here: Thanks!
HelloI now create 50 differens quizes, and I’d like to duplicate and change a little, BUT it makes me define the buttons each time. It does’nt duplicate the form with the defined buttons, but it gos to button defolt and I have do define manually all of the 50 forms. Is there a way to duplicate the form WITH the button definitions? Thankxxx L.
'+' being stripped from url variables
I’m passing an email address as a url variable to the form (hidden field) but typeform is converting ‘+’ character to a space, both in the question display when using the @email variable in the question copy, and when saved to DB (and gsheet). So email is passed as:email@example.comAnd it’s being saved and displayed as:example firstname.lastname@example.org Is anyone else experiencing this?
