📣 New Feature Alert! Installing reCaptcha on your Typeformtypeform update

 Community friends, reCaptcha is HERE! 🎉 Typeform is on a journey to create solutions that best fit our customer’s use cases. reCaptcha is a critical part of the lead quality journey for folks using Typeform for customer acquisition.   With that in mind, we have bundled it together with similar features, including lead enrichment and video engagement, in our new Growth packages.   To turn on this feature you can toggle the option in the Form settings ⚙ like this:  For step-by-step instructions on how to enable reCaptcha, head over to the Help Center here. (Note: This functionality is currently only available in our new Growth plans) Now, I know you all want to enable reCaptcha on all the forms!! 📣 New Feature Alert! Goodbye notifications, hello Follow-upsProduct update

Happy Spring, Typeform community! The Research & Development team is coming in bloom this season with a new feature that many of you are going to love - conditional follow ups! If you’ve used our notifications feature before, you might be familiar with sending emails after a respondent submits the form. With our new follow-ups feature, you can send different emails based on answers, both on the respondent side and the creator side.  Watch the video below for more information on what this looks like.  To start using this feature,   Click on the gear settings in the form builder. Then, click on “Follow ups”   Next, click on the + button to begin creating your follow-up sequence.     Choose the condition you’d like the email to send under and create-away! 🛎️ Important Announcement: Integration DeprecationAnnouncement

Hello and happy near-June, Typeformers! If you’ve been keeping up with our email announcements recently, you might have read an update about our integrations. We wanted to post a little reminder here to make sure you're aware of what's happening. In late April, we communicated that the following integrations would no longer be available in Typeform Connect, our integration marketplace:  The following integrations will be impacted: Asana  Constant Contact Convertkit Mailerlite Onedrive Productboard Thinkific Zendesk Sell We decided to sunset these integrations to allow us to focus our resources on improving more widely-used integrations such as Mailchimp, Slack, and Hubspot (to name a few). You can still connect Typeform with these apps using tools like Zapier, Make or through our webhooks. Your Early Holiday Gift is Here: The Address Fieldproduct updates

Hello, wonderful community folks! Your early holiday gift is here - the address question type!  Built thanks to popular demand, our address question easily allows you to collect mailing information from your respondents, all within the same question. You can choose which fields you’d like to mark as required. 📣 New Feature Alert! Data Enrichment

If you’ve ever needed a lot of information from your respondents but don’t want to ask a lot of questions, Typeform’s data enrichment feature is your answer! Our Typeform for Growth plan is all about getting you quality responses that further your business, and in my humble opinion, our data enrichment feature is one of the coolest (and easiest!) ways to do this. To use the data enrichment feature, all you have to do is add an email question to your form, mark the email field as required, and toggle “data enrichment” on.  Once your respondent enters their email address and submits your form, you’ll receive information such as company name, revenue, and primary industry, to name a few, within your Responses. You can find step by step instructions and detailed information on this feature here.  A quick piece of advice - be sure to ask your respondents for consent before collecting information through data enrichment if required by your industry or location. 📣 New feature alert! Live form embeddingNew feature

Happy August, typeformers! For those of you who love to embed your typeforms, you’re really going to dig this new feature.  Our product team has made a small (but mighty!) update to the embed code. Previously, if you made any changes to the design of the embed (such as the button text/colors/etc), you needed to re-embed the code for those changes to go live.  Now, with our updated live embed feature, you can make any changes to the look of your embedded typeform and those changes will automatically reflect in your embedded typeform. Typeform is getting a glow up 💅Product news

Hey there folks!  Exciting news: we’ve been doing some spring cleaning and we’re about to launch a new builder and workspace design to help make your typeform-building experience more intuitive! 🪄 If you’re brand new to Typeform, you will already be seeing the new-look design in your account  💁 For those of you that are old skool typeformers you should see the revamped interface appearing very soon.  Here’s a quick look:    What’s newYou’ll notice a new-look workspace. You can still switch between list and grid view to keep track of all the typeforms you’ve created:  Once you’re in the builder, here are some changes to look out for: There’s a new top toolbar:   This is where you’ll find the accessibility checker, mobile/desktop editor toggle, form preview and form settings. You’ll also see the new + Add content button which you can use to insert new questions into your form.  Typeformers, we're super grateful for all of the feedback you've been giving lately. You'll be pleased to know it's been keeping our product development team very busy (don't worry, they love building software!) The team has been deep-diving into all of your requests and churning out solutions faster than butter (bad joke, I know). Without further ado, let’s dive into the features that launched last month! Multi-Language Forms We know your respondents might speak multiple languages, and we heard your requests for multi-language forms. Chat UI discontinuation updateAnnouncements

Happy almost June, Typeformers! You may remember our announcement earlier this month in the post here about deprecating the Chat UI: First, thank you all for your feedback and sharing your use cases. We realized it was a bit too soon to deprecate chat, so thanks to your feedback, we’ve decided to move the switch-off date to August 31st, 2023.  We know it isn’t easy to say goodbye to a feature, but we hope the extra time gives you the chance to adjust to the change. And don’t stop sharing your use cases! We’d love to see how you’ve been using chat and offer any alternative suggestions for embeds, such as using our popover option.  We chose to deprecate the Chat UI due to low usage, but we’ve been working on new innovative ways to collect, such as Formless. While this isn’t a replacement for the Chat UI, it might be a useful option for you in the future if you’re looking for an even more conversational form…less. If you’d like to be the first to know when our beta version is available, s

New! Typeform email embeds got an update! 🎉product updates

Hey Community! Some good news to end the year - in our quest to help you collect more answers the product team have just released an update to the email embed feature 🚀 Previously when a respondent answered a question embedded in an email the data would be captured once they clicked Submit on the typeform, which wasn’t always helpful as many respondents wouldn’t get as far as clicking Submit 😅 Now, if you embed a single question typeform in an email it will capture the answer and save it in your Results panel without the need to hit Submit!   This will make collecting information from your audience so much slicker! Learn more about embedding your typeform in an email from our Help Center guide here and let us know what you think of these improvements in the comments below ⬇️

New! Get richer insights with Performance TrendsNew feature

It’s one thing to collect data, but it’s another to see how your respondents are answering over a given period of time. If you loved the Insights panel of the builder, you’re going to fancy it even more now with the newest update from our product team - the performance trends! If you’re a visual person like me, seeing data in a chart makes it much easier to comprehend versus a full list of numbers. Thankfully, the product team developed the Performance Trends so you can have a better understanding of how your respondents are answering over a given period of time.  How to use the new trends report 1. When you first land on the Insights page, you’ll see a lovely overview of the submission rate over time.   2. If you want to see how many respondents answered over a given period of time, you can use the filters and selectors to narrow it down for your given timeframe.   3. Goodbye Inbox, hello Table!Product updates

[UPDATE: 29 Feb 2024] The Inbox view will be removed on 31 March 2024 and from then the Table view will become the default way of reviewing your responses. Read more about the Table View here. It's here! Our contact info question is now available 🎉new feature

Before I begin to tell you about this new feature, I think this one deserves a drum roll. Without further ado….  Our contact info question is now available! Many (many!) of you have been waiting for this feature, and you can all sleep well at night knowing that it’s possible to ask for contact information in the same question.  This feature doesn’t need much explaining, so I’ll dive right into explaining how to add this block to your form in the video below:   To use this question:   Search or select the question by clicking the + button on the upper left corner of the builder.    Next, choose which questions you would like to appear and which you’d like to be marked required.     Finally, be sure to publish your typeform so the changes are live!  Learn more about this block and the other question types available in our Help Center article here.  As always, let us know how you use this field on your forms and if you have any feedback.

Our Google Analytics integration now supports GA4! 🥂Product updates

Your Typeform data just got better! Our Google Analytics integration now supports GA4!  Our Product team has made it super easy to integration with your GA4 account. All you have to do is enter your tracking code into the integration settings like this:   If you already have Google Analytics integrated, you’ll need to remove the integration and re-add it with the new Google Analytics 4 code.  As always, if you have any questions or feedback, drop it in the comments below!

Update your Airtable integration to keep the data flowing 🔁Integration update

Happy New Year 🎉 And with a new year, comes a new announcement!  We’ve launched a new version of the Airtable integration, which means anyone who is currently using the integration will need to make some updates to continue sending data to Airtable. Here’s what you need to do: Go to the Connect panel in your form and delete the active Airtable integration.  Once deleted, click Connect to reconnect to the new integration.  If you have multiple forms connected to Airtable, you will need to do this for each one.  For more detailed instructions on setting up the integration, check out our Help Center article here. The deadline to make these changes is February 1st, 2024. Find respondents fast with our Eureka Surveys integration 📋New feature

Typeformers, We know conducting research can be tough and that finding people to complete your typeform is one of the main challenges. Some of you have posted in the community looking for survey respondents or asking for recommendations on where to find them.  The good news is our product team has just come up with a solution for you!! Typeform's new  Eureka Surveys integration provides you with a bucket of respondents ready to complete your form and give you the data requested in your research.  As always, the product team has made this integration easy to set up.
