We use this functionality with Typeform and assumed the same functionality would work for VideoAsk, but it doesn’t seem to work quite the same. We created all the variable fields we need on the VA side, but that only seems to work if I’m sharing the VA link directly with the variables with theURL.
I have a VideoAsk that has a “Video of the Week”, and then after that step, the can go to the ‘Archive’ and watch old Videos of the Week. Sometimes, I’d like to send my customer one of the old (‘archived’) Videos of the Week because it directly answers a question they have. Right now they have to go through the first, irrelevant video to get to the important video, which they then have to find by title. How can I just send them a link to the specific video I want them to see?Any suggested workflows? Am I right that a direct URL is not possible?
I have added a Videoask widget to the bottom of my page - the little circular one that pops out from the corner of the page. Then I added one on the next page. And the next. I did a little code to embed a page number in each, so I know which page people were on when they send me the customer service request. The problem is this: As a person works down the page menu on the side of my site, the first widget doesn’t disappear. It stays. On the next page, the second widget just appears over it. Then the third on the third page, etc. It doesn’t visually look like a problem since they’re all the same size and shape, but my concern with this is the following: If someone hits the minus sign to dismiss one, the others are still there (you’d have to hit the minus sign several times to get rid of them all) then the person might click the one from 2 or 3 pages ago, and my automated customer service process will not reflect the correct page/question that the customer was asking about. I’m looking for a way within VideoAsk to invite people to answer a VA with a unique invitation link, that they can only use once.So the idea is that we only have to record the VA once, but instead of sharing the general VA link we create unique links to share with specific people that expire once they completed it (to prevent that people can submit it twice).This way we won’t have to duplicate the VA - and all responses come in in the same place.This would be interesting for use cases like those below:Tests (exams) Applications Payed services, for example like Cameo
Hi Videoask community, Is it possible to send one-time Videoask URLs to recipients? I have a specific use-case where I only want my customers to be able to access a Videoask once, without the ability to share it with others.I have resorted to manually changing the password on a set date, but this obviously isn’t practical, nor logical. Hi, could someone help? I’ve embedded a videoask as an iframe half way down my website homepage. Unfortunately, when this page loads it’ll jump straight down to the videoask and miss out all the info above. It does this with all iframe embedding on desktop but never on mobile. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks
Hello All, We are new to VA. It appears to allow us to add a New Contact but the New Contact is not being displayed. On top it shows a total of 10 Contacts but only 6 are displayed. I cannot seem to find a solution in the self-help or community forum. Thanks so much. rey
Hello,I am writing regarding the issue I'm facing while attempting to download my entire VideoAsk. I have recorded questions, received answers, on the platform. However, every time I try to download, I encounter a problem. The available options seem to download either:- One individual video- All of my videos (questions)- All of the other person's videos (results)What I actually want is to have a single, continuous video that includes everything - all the videos, questions, and answers - in the correct order as they appear on the website. This is how the concept was presented to me. Unfortunately, I believe there must be a solution to this problem, but I haven't been able to find it myself. If someone could kindly provide me with some guidance or pointers, I would greatly appreciate it. For reference I have the premium VideoAsk paying option.

Basicamente, quando a pessoa acessar um produto específico, ter uma miniatura com o vídeo e se ela der play, irá passar um vídeo falando do produto. Sem que a pessoa precise responder nada, apenas passa o vídeo. É possível? Google translate: I would like to insert some videos, using Typeform, on the product page of an ecommerce, that is, as if it were a photo, but in fact it is a video. Basically, when a person accesses a specific product, has a thumbnail with the video and if they press play, a video will show talking about the product. Without the person having to answer anything, they just play the video. It's possible?
I am trying to respond to a videoask survey. I can record video but there is no audio. My mic is on and the equipment showing in settings is correct. Something is mentioned in the video from the survey taker about choosing from the options below but there are no options showing. The survey taker support says something about making sure their mic is on as well as mine but there is no option to turn their mic on. My system is android. Help!
