Share your videoask

I’m using VideoAsk to collect short job promotion videos from individual agencies.Each agency will submit a video response for a specific job opening, and I need each individual video response to include or connect to that specific job’s direct link.In other words, I don’t want one general link attached to the whole VideoAsk. I need Response A to connect to Job Link A, Response B to connect to Job Link B, Response C to connect to Job Link C, and so on.Is there a way to have each respondent submit their unique job link and then have that link stay attached to their individual video response when I share or embed it?Basically, I need every individual response video to have its own correct, unique job link connected to it.What’s the best way to do this in VideoAsk?

I record a video in the system.I see it there.I would like to copy/paste SOME link to email or text to send out.No link?  Do I copy the HUGE long link in the Google Search bar?The U/I on this system --much development needed.On the paid plan now- I think--- but maybe be worth the dollars?Mark

I’ve used VideoAsk for about a year now. I love the service, but with a recent form I am collecting 3-4x’s more anonymous responses to ones that actually fill it out! So I have a decent amount of people clicking to find out more info, but then leaving and I’m left with absolutely NO information.I’ve tried collecting info up front and on the back end through an EventBrite form. But with both ways, I just keep racking up a bunch of useless Anonymous clicks. So I’m left feeling like I’m losing ¾ of my interested people somewhere in the process. Any ideas and feedback would be MUCH appreciated!Here’s the link:  

I contacted support four days ago and nothing.  I am testing the  platform.  We watched the video and entered our contact information but the test email did not show up in the interactions area for Videoask. We have used this test email several times.Would that prevent Videoask from recording the interaction with this test email.Does anyone know the answer?  I am really disappointed I can’t get any help from Typeform.

I just started on VideoAsk recently and sent out VideoAsks to clients for testimonials. How do I edit (trim) and stitch together the segments for a single video to upload to my website once the submissions come in?

Hi everyone,I’m planning to use VideoAsk to collect reactions from 60–100 people right after a film. Each person would use their phone in their seat, see a written question, and record a short video/audio response.My main concern is whether the audio will be clear if everyone records at the same time in a cinema. Hello We are receiving so many anonymous reviews with no content. We really want to upgrade and roll this out across the whole company, but until we sort this issue out we don't know what to do.😥When we do it, put our email address in, show the video, it comes through. But I think we've had about 30 other people try, and they all come through anonymous. And no video content.  

When I send a link to videoask from gohighlevel funnel that includes contact email & contact name, it works. I can see the data in the contact form and everything works good. when I use the embed code in a gohighlevel funnel, it does not resolve the parameters for contact email & contact name. I used the same URL that I used for sending to videoask. I looked at instructions and don’t see anything related to adding parametyers when embedding.  but it did use the parameter field names instead of resolving it to the actual contact information. Need help! 

I got email saying someone has responded to my videoask. When I click on it, there is nothing there? Where is the video?

my contact is not able to click on “request permissions” to get his cam and mic connected to record a video responding to my videoask. What to do? also, how the heck do you contact videoask support team? there is no way!!

Hei! When i use ?fullscreen and ?justvideo i the code to the movies, they dosent appear the same in every browser.In Chrome its the way it should be, but in Safari and Firefox its not the same. ..Erik  

As in the title, what is the resolution and quality of the videos when I download them from videoask? can't find specs on any feature or pricing pages on in the community. If anyone knows it would be much appreciated.p.s. I need a platform that will ideally give me 1920x1080 video quality from the downloaded testimonial Thanks in advance

 Hello support,We have contacted support for 4 days ago but we have not heard back. We are writing to ask for support with the following;  After building and sending out our VideoAsk we have discovered that individuals are having issue recording a video on the phone — the prompts are all in place and active including the phone’s permission for camera use, unfortunately what happens is the result is the video portion is frozen or lagging — this has happened multiple times with Iphone 15, IPhone 15 Pro and there have been some results with an iPhone 15 Pro that have worked — so this issue is not consistent.We have tried the following when trying to resolve issue:1. Disabled pop-ups 2. Tried different recording speeds in settings.Nothing has worked to resolve issue.  There does not seem to be any issue recording from a computer, however, we would like people to  have the option to record directly from their phones.We hope we can get assistance in resolving this matter.Thanks,Kirsten

Once they click Yes, they give permission, how can I get that as proof for the future, in case, they decide to sue, for example. Thanks

Hi, I would like to embed my affiliate link so that it’s the branded VideoAsk logo that appears on the bottom right of my current videos. I can’t seem to find how I would go about doing this. Any guidance would be appreciated! 

In VIdeoask, I have 4 questions, which I add 1 to the score each time. that way I can see how many questions they answer. e.g. if they only answered 2 questions, the score is 2. I then need to fed into LeadConnector (Brandbuilder), in order to then move the client into the correct automation workflow.I did my first Zap (Zapier) which worked, but the score does not show up for me to transfer to LeadConnector.Is this field not available in Zapier? when I go thru VideoAsk looking at each client, I see the score field, so data exists.

Hi,For my work I made a Videoask guidance for people to take multiple steps.For this I use the Delay interaction possibility, because we want the users to watch the whole video first, before we show the button that will bring them to the next video.Is there a way to hide the text 'Interaction in XX seconds’, because that confuses our users.Thanks,Jeroen

I am running facebook ads and was thinking once someone clicks on my ad they will they be sent to the link for my video ask to be collected as a lead then go through the sequence to qualify them to book a consultation. Has any body tried this? If so what were the pros and cons?Any help is greatly appreciated!Kris

Hi, We successfully test recorded our VideoAsk workflow in both PREVIEW and LIVE modes at https://app.videoask.com... works great there!But we seem to be having challenges getting our embed to work on our own website using either Chrome or Safari (latest builds of both) on Mac OS 15.2 Sequoia.The embed shows up OK, but fails when we try recording (below).We have the camera and microphone set to “allow” like in the screenshot, and both refreshed the page and restarted each browser, but still get the same errors: Safari:Please enable camera & microphone permissionsNotAllowedError - The request is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context, possibly because the user denied permission.SAFARI - MAC - PERMISSION_DENIED_BROWSER_ERROR Chrome:Please enable camera & microphone permissionsNotAllowedError - Permission deniedCHROME - MAC - PERMISSION_DENIED_BROWSER_ERROR Thinking it’s likely an obvious setting, perhaps in Mac OS itself, that we missed? Any ideas ap

I really like Videoask, but I’m curious if it’s just for embedding videos on landing pages, or if there’s also an option to have a video pop-up?
