What is the max downloaded video resolution/quality?

Are you looking to collect video testimonials from people? You’d need to give clear instructions on how they should be recording the video in order to get the best quality download. 

Here are a couple of Help Center articles that are hopefully useful in your quest for information:

You should be able to get a 1920x1080 video but you may need to give instructions of you want people to record (eg, make sure it’s in landscape mode)

the question is, assuming people will use a 1080p or higher resolution for recording their videos, what is the resolution of the video when I download it from videoask? I ran a trial and created a test video in full HD on a great camera, but the quality of the video was pretty bad on the videoask platform, though I couldn’t download without paying to verify.

The link you sent for the Download videos article in the help center does not specify the resolution/quality of said videos I could download, thus the question

Thanks ​@LiveWorkSwitzerland my understanding is it’s very dependent on the person’s camera, but I’m trying to find out some more information on dimensions for you.

to be more specific, if a user uploads a 1080p (1920x1080) 60fps, high bitrate video testimonial, what resolution/quality will it be when I downloaded it from Videoask? if someone could test it that might work, really surprised they don’t list it anywhere.

And yes we’re following up with a few happy customers from our new business to get some video testimonials

Hi ​@LiveWorkSwitzerland I’ve been doing some testing, and it definitely depends on the device the video is recorded on as to what the dimensions are when downloaded. Let me find a video of that size and check!
