The event tracking to Meta Pixel is no longer working, and we have also noticed that the Facebook Pixel integration has been removed from the VideoAsk interface. As a result, we are unable to verify or monitor the integration status.

Hi everyone,We’re currently integrating our application with VideoAsk and have followed the documentation closely, but we’re consistently running into 400 errors during the OAuth flow.Here’s what we’ve confirmed:All credentials are correct Webhooks are working as expected Our implementation aligns with the documentationOur use case:We want to allow service providers to connect their VideoAsk account to our platform and embed VideoAsk into their campaigns, so that service requesters can respond via VideoAsk within that flow.The issue:No matter how we configure OAuth, we receive 400 errors.Before we continue troubleshooting, we wanted to ask:Is this type of multi-user / platform-based OAuth integration supported by VideoAsk? Has anyone successfully implemented a similar use case? Are there any known limitations or required configurations not clearly outlined in the docs?Any guidance or examples would be really appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Last year, we built 2 VideoAsk ‘apps’ (one for summer only and one for year round classes). After they were built, we ran through a relatively simple process that created the google sheets to receive the VideoAsk responses. We built google app script to sort, clean, and order the 154 possible responses (per app ‘session’) so we could make the responses actionable for our staff.We turned the summer app off at the end of summer and left the year round app continue - it’s still working today. When we turned on the Summer app again this year, it will no longer connect to google sheets… we have to go through Zapier now and that has NOT been useful. We attempted creating a new sheet and workbook but nothing has worked to date. We have tried to use Zapier, using the documentation about moving ‘special variables’, but it does not work. And, Zapier doesn’t appear to be able to read the 154 questions for me to create 154 special variables.  I can not find documentation to explain a way to simply

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with text answers in VideoAskWhen respondents click into the text answer field in the VideoAsk and start typing, pressing the spacebar does not always insert a space as expected.Instead, the space bar appears to control the video (play/pause or record), as if focus has shifted back to the video area rather than staying in the text field. This issue is new and wasn't happening before, the space bar used to work correctly for typing spaces in this exact same VideoAsk Steps to reproduce:Open any VideoAsk that includes an open-ended text answer field. Click the button or option that advances to the open-ended text question. Start typing your answer in the text field. When you press the space bar while typing, instead of inserting a space between words, the video stops or plays (as if the space bar is controlling the video), so normal typing with spaces is not possible. 

Hi everyone,We're having trouble right now with a development that relies on a data collection service.Using Production API CredentialsNow that we've built your app with VideoAsk, you can write the app itself using your own client_id and client_secret. Your app will need to generate an access token (and possibly a refresh token as well) to integrate with the VideoAsk APIs. This requires making authorization and authentication requests through your browser-based app.The first request, GET https://auth.videoask.com/authorize, confirms your client_id, prompts the user to grant the permissions your app requires, and returns a temporary authorization code.The second request, POST https://api.videoask.com/oauth/token, confirms your temporary authorization code and returns your access token. (this is not a problem)The https://api.videoask.com/authorize link in your app, including the parameters, the problem is that it needs human intervention, as far as I can see, but maybe I missed something

Hey there, looking to have some help working with a VideoAsk developer that could use the API connection to be hooked up to GoHighLevel so that my team members can duplicate the same VideoAsk form but just switch up the videos and the sequence via a GoHighLevel iFrame window, but not enough access so they can delete any videoasks.Looking to find someone that can help me with this project in the next 2-3 months and complete it within 30 days.Will pay 50% upfront and 50% when project completed. I do recruiting, and am white labling video ask. I am using this to prescreen candidates. How can I make it to that my client get an email with the video ask or audio details?  Meaning, they will not be logging into a video ask page, so they can just listen to the responses, right from their email inbox.  What zapier integration do I have to use to make this happen? this feature is available in typeform, where you can put the email address of someone on your team that you want to get the answers to your typeform, but I am new to videoask, so I am not sure how to do that. 

Hey all. I’m new to VideoAsk, but am absolutely loving it! However, I’m finding that the majority of my responses come in as Anonymous. I’ve tried moving the Collect Data slide earlier in the process, and I get that if people bail when it’s time to leave a testimony, it may come in as Anonymous, but I have a bunch that are filling out the entire form except their contact info.  Any advice, best practices, or help on this front would be greatly appreciated! Hi community, I'm trying to connect VideoAsk with HubSpot and everything went well, the connection was successful. However, I'm not able to map the user's responses because they are coming through as ID/code instead of the actual response text. Any solution? Thanks

How to make nodes and integrate with N8N and save in CRM?Can Sameone show the way? 

In the dashboard I have the ability to export results or our VideoAsk conversations into Excel/csv files and download those to my computer. Is there a way to schedule/automate an export of that information? The current Zapier interface does not appear to provide that same functionality. Thank you.  

Hi there,Just wondering if anyone may be able to provide some insight into whether a date option can be used if I am trying to map fields with HubSpot. I see there is an option for scheduling a meeting. But one of my questions needs to have the date format entered. Just wondering if anyone has encountered this and if their is a work around? Thinking I could give some guidance in a question that asks the person to enter in the text field in the following format (MM/DD/YYYY)? Thanks! Ash

We use a webhook to receive completed VideoAsk responses and process the videos. I’m currently working on a way to retry the processing of the videos, but after a certain amount of time the URLs that originally came with the webhook event give me “403 Forbidden” responses.I’ve attempted replacing the auth token appended to the URLs with a new one from the account settings page but that made no difference.So what’s going on? Does my access to these videos expire after a certain amount of time? How can I get access to them again?

Users log in to our site beforehand, and I need to track responses per specific user instead of anonymously.Could someone guide me on: How to pass our user ID to VideoAsk through an iframe? I created a webhook and in all requests I get the error:"No response(Invalid Date)".the url is accessible and is responding with an OK for testing purposes.when I copy the payload straight into my code, my script works correctly. apparently the webhook is not being sent.For testing purposes, I created a new form (https://www.videoask.com/XXXXX) with the webhook pointing to pipedream https://XXXXXXX.m.pipedream.net and the error persistsIt worked well until a few days into the project in production.

I have a videoask on my website, but I would like it to appear after a few seconds on the web. Can this be controlled from the script somehow? Does anyone know a bit of programming or if this is possible. It is that what I do not want is that it loads immediately when a user accesses the web

I already have the video subtitles for all the languages divided into the given times. But I don't know how to add these subtitles to the video, I tried to duplicate the video and create a video for each subtitle, but when I changed 1, all the others changed too. So I wanted to know how to make the subtitles available, either in separate videos or together.

I use learndash to run asynchronous global cohorts. I would like to use videoask as a way to:1. Checking in at the beginning of the course by introducing themselves via videoask.The videoask requests them to do a self introduction. I’d like every response to the videoask to show up on the page where the videoask is. 2 Answering questions/sharing comments.Throughout the course I’d like to ask a question via videoask for participants to reply to and be able to see/hear each other’s answers. I have tried using Zapier, but each time a new reply comes in, it over writes previous replies. How can I set this up?

I am trying to use the "redirect to URL" ending to take users from VideoAsk to typeform. I need to be able to drag the hidden variables appended to the VideoASk URL to the TypeformURL, but those are not showing up as options in the Redirect to a URL dropdown. Is there a way to do this?  

I have a Typeform with VideoAsk questions within the form, for example: Questions 4 and 7 out of 10 questions are VideoAsks. The Typeform has a participant_id as a hidden field that lets me identify who answered the form (need this for my application).As you may know, VideoAsk responses are not embedded to the Typeform Response, instead they are saved to VideoAsk. Here is where I want to pass the participant_id so that in my VideoAsk account I can see the ID and identify which participant it came from. Please help :(
