Hello folks, We know that some of you love getting involved in feature testing. That’s why we have a typeform where you can register your interest and help us build and improve our tools. Complete the typeform below and we’ll get in touch once we have something new for you to get your hands on!
Hi! I’m new to TypeForm and I so far love the product but I have a crucial issue which might become a deal breaker for me.When I make a numerical question, I can’t type alphabets and symbols but somehow the field accepts Japanese text input (basically all 2 byte characters like “あ”, “Ａ” or “１”) and does not show any error. Is this a known bug, or is there any way to make this not happen? If it is a bug, it would be quite critical to anyone using Japanese, Korean, Chinese and all other languages using 2 or 3 byte characters. Thank you,Yuki
I have a survey of 130 multiple choice questions. Like a matrix, but, I want to use the multiple choice option instead. Each of the 5 multiple choices for each question has the same equivalent score - i.e. Answer A is = 1, Answer B is = 2, Answer 3 is = 3 …. and so on.I want the output to give me the matching score, rather than the written answer.I also don’t need the running total of the scores.Only the individual answer score is relevant, as, the responses are then entered into a large spreadsheet with calculation formulas based on the score.I have pasted an example below of the kind of output I need. I originally thought I would do something in Zapier, but, it’s going to be a ver long Zap. I feel there must be a way to get this report out of Typeform? I would love to hear the thoughts of the community.
Feature Request: A Dedicated Place to Vote and Submit Feature Requests (Meta) Can we get a tag to separate feature requests from people asking for help? This would be useful for Typeform’s developers to see what everyone is requesting, and for others looking for similar requests. We can all vote collectively and draw attention to features we would like to see on future rollouts. Adobe does it really well.
It would be great for people to be able to take and upload pictures using their device camera. And even better if there was functionality to assess the quality of the image on the way in and reject it if it were blurry or insufficient contrast, ie: too dark and then give feedback to the user saying, please try again with more light or please try again without moving your image is blurred. And then I’d also like the link to each image to be available for passing via zapier to our CRM.
Hi Community I’m hoping you can help,I have a reporting structure set up for our Typeforms with Google Sheets/Google Slides and Document Studio. It was working perfectly pre-Christmas and was tried and tested. Now all of a sudden the images being pulled from the spreadsheet to the reports are massively reduced in quality, blurry and unreadable.I’ve genuinely changed nothing so I don’t know what has happened. Any tips would be greatly appreciated?AfterBefore
The “new” free plan is useless. Ten responses per month. What a joke! Basically, type form is saying that virtually everyone needs to have a paid subscription. I used type form once or twice a year to get free back from a group of teenagers that I mentor as a volunteer. There are 15-20 people in the group. As a free user I was happy to advertise type form to this group and their parents. Now, I will need to look for a different service.
Hi!We use the date feature to check the availability of applicants. Unfortunately, a lot of people type in their date of birth.I wish it was possible to specify that the date has to be in the future or today - without creating a logic for it. If the hint only comes after the slide, it is likely that the dropout rate of the questionnaire will increase. A small notification or error message would be cool. In addition, typing in the numbers is very tedious and not very user-friendly, it stops the "flow" every time (on the desktop computer). I have to type in a number (day), then either click or jump to the next field (month), this is very tedious. I would prefer a wheel or a small pop-up calendar.
Hello all, We were trying to set up on conversion tracking, and we use Typeform as our lead generation form. For this tracking its crucial for us to pass the parameters from Typeform to a different domain. We tried passing the parameters via GTM but its not working. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please consider adding an ‘Address field’ just like you have a ‘Phone field’. It’s important to be able to easily capture the customer’s address without having to go through 5 or 6 pages. I’m sorry if this is a repeat request but I think it’s a very important part of any registration or on-boarding form. Automatic integration with Google map or other API (such as algolia) would be great! Street address Unit City Province / State Zip / Postal Code Country
Hi team 👋 I’ve been on a bit of a sabbatical, however I’m now back and catching up with all the updates to VideoAsk since I’ve been away. One thing that jumped to mind whilst going through the new features (Which are all great quality of life upgrades) was an idea for a new feature - which I thought I would voice and see what thoughts are.For context, my aim for 2023 is to move the bulk of my communication in business (recruitment) to asynchronous video/audio. I wondered if an extension for Chrome+Gmail could be a good idea to allow you to pull people/contacts into your account and then respond straight away. Picture opening an email - thinking I’d really like to respond via video to this and being able to hit a button that lets you jump straight in to recording a VideoAsk or landing 1st step of the builder.Apologies for the brain dump, it’s pre-coffee ☕️ - but hopefully the idea makes sense!
They are offering much less but charging much more in every single plan. It really doesn’t matter if you are an old or new customer, cause in the end you will need to change or update something and that will make you change to a new plan. So, the question is simple. Can someone recomend me better alternatives?
Hey, I have searched for this in the forum and found these:Both provided solutions are some form of “what do you want to validate? let’s find some workarounds”, I find this a bit inadequate. Other platforms allow you to supply a custom regular expression which is used to validate the provided value. This offers a lot of flexibility, letting creators specify exactly what they want the field to contain.I think this kind of validation should be offered in TypeForm. Regular expressions are a mature technology widely used since the beginning of the internet, and can be very useful for this purpose. I see a few ways this could happen:An additional setting in Short Text settings allowing you to provide a custom validation regular expression Support for regular expressions in Logic conditions, permitting loops back to the question if the value does not validate correctly A new value type which supports regular expressionsI hope this kind of feature is considered as some values feature detailed
