Hey Community 👋

We’re building new AI-powered features at Typeform, and we’d love your input to help shape where we go next.

We’re inviting a small group of Typeform users to join an exclusive Alpha research program where you’ll get early access to test our newest AI features.

The study will take place over the next 3 weeks and includes:

  • Week 1: One intro session (45–60 min) to walk you through the product and answer any questions

  • Week 2: A short diary-style survey you’ll complete on your own after using the product

  • Week 3: One final wrap-up call (30 min) to share feedback and ideas

You’ll receive a $50 gift card for each step you complete — up to $150 total.

Interested in participating? Just fill out this survey to get started:

[THIS SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED]

Successful applicants will receive an email with more details of the program, and a calendar link to book the first intro session.

We’re looking forward to learning from you 🧑‍💻

Hi, I am not sure if i can give feedback for the AI here but, i had multiple choice question and it was rated A - J instead of numbers (1-10) I have explained to AI and it deleted my answers and created multiple choice being like:
A - 1
B - 2
C - 3 etc. instead of having

1 - answer 1
2 - answer 2
3 - answer 3
tried also to have checkbox question instead of multiple choice, so i wouldn’t have letters at the beginning of the answers, asked AI create 10 checkbox options in one question and said multiple times that it did it but nothing has changed in the question.

Getting frustrated with the AI. Slowing me down.

Thanks so much for sharing your feedback here @IgorMarc. We can pass this onto our Product team. It’s still a new feature that they are refining, so we appreciate you taking the time to share what’s happened.

@PolBorrellas FYI 😊

Hello, @IgorMarc !

I'm Pol, the Product Manager for Typeform AI.

Thanks for sharing this! Feedback like yours is exactly what helps us improve.

Let me clarify what happened and what your options are.

Why the AI got confused

The AI hallucinated, it confidently said it made changes that weren't actually possible. This happened because what you asked it isn’t possible but it thought it was. I’ll work with the team to ensure that the AI is aware of the block setting limitations and properly informs the user.

What Typeform actually supports for Multiple Choice

For answer choice labels, there are currently only two options:

  1. Letters — A. Answer 1, B. Answer 2…
  2. No labels — Answer 1, Answer 2… (you can enable this in Form settings > Display)

Numbers aren't available as labels because they'd clash with the question numbering in the form.

For your use case, the "no labels" option is probably closest to what you want — it removes the letters entirely, so your answer choices stand on their own.

👉 Could you share with me what makes you want to have numbers when listing the answer choices, please?

Knowing this helps me understand whether this is a gap worth prioritizing.

Thanks again for taking the time, and sorry for the frustration.
