Include Custom CSS?

Hi Type Form,

We are excited about the features and possibilities of TypeForm and would like to use the service for a client. However, the corporate design specifications of our client are very strict, so that the design of buttons and the choice of fonts could be a criterion against TypeForm.

Is it really not possible to include a custom - minimal - CSS? Not even with an individual business super account?

I would be very happy about a positive answer.

Regards,

Anja

Hi @witczak Thanks for stopping by and great question! It’s not possible to add custom code to the form, including CSS, and this is because we wouldn’t be able to guarantee the look of the form if extra coding is applied.

Though, if you haven’t already, I’d suggest taking a peek at our Embed SDK, which allows you to work with the embed code a bit more comfortably if you’re adding the form to your site. Hope this helps a bit!

Hi @viktor.yankovskyi Welcome to the community! Happy you’re here! :grinning: I added your post here where we have the answer. Let us know if you have any other questions!

@Liz Hey there, we’re working on embedding a short survey into our app and when we increase the height, the padding at the top becomes way too much--we’re trying to achieve a seamless look that doesn’t involve the scroll bar. Is there any way we can have the form be top aligned instead of centered or reduce that top padding a bit?

Hi @sarahnickerson I’m afraid we don’t support custom CSS on the forms, but if there’s anything else I can help answer, please let me know. :grinning:

Hi @dizdonchik added your post here where we have the answer!

I would like to know if I can create my own form (my own CSS styles) and through the api send the data to typeform. The reason is that I need to create a very custom form.

How can I allow cross-origin to widget iframe to customize it from code?

Hi @djamel mohamed Adding custom code to your Typeform isn’t something we support, so if you choose to do so, you would have to navigate those waters with caution.

@mathio might be able to provide some suggestions, but we can’t support custom code since we don’t know how custom code will react to our product.
