Hack Together - Add magic to your team lunch with Meta-API

After two years of working from home, some of us might be lucky to go back to the office and meet our colleagues IRL. This is great, but it also means a return to that age old dilemma: where should we go for lunch as a team?! 🥪

The Meta-API team were tired of lunch break bickering so they took matters into their own hands – they automated the lunch venue decision-making process using Yelp, Slack, Typeform and Meta API.

Every day teammates receive a Slack message containing a typeform with a few options for lunch, and everyone votes for their favorite place. At the end of the voting period, the winning restaurant is announced on the team's channel, and they all go enjoy a nice meal.

On this Hack Together we will sit down with Mathieu Rasse CEO and Co-Founder of Meta-API and Marcel Tessier, CTO and Co-Founder, and together we will rebuild this flow.

We'll show how to pull data from an API and push it to a typeform, and reveal how to use typeform responses in a custom Slack message.
