Hi there, I have a form that uses Document Studio to do a mail merge and email a report of the survey responses. When it works, it’s fine. However, Document Studio seems a bit unreliable. Am wondering if anyone uses another piece of software to do the same kind of tasks which is reliable?

just in case others are interested in this, @Liz, this is the answer that i provided to @Nell100 in a DM

“i have about 1500 docs that go out on average each day and don't notice any systemic issues with Document Studio. I'm quite happy with what it sends out. I have noticed from time to time that whenever there are updates in the Google environment - which does happen but we don't get the notifications (as mere mortals in the SaaS world lol) - that i have sometimes seen issues in the Sheets and need to simply open up anything that is causing me an error and then it all clears up.

i DO make a regular habit of checking the Sheets that drive my outbound Doc Studio reports on a weekly basis to make sure that everything is working well.. just a little old-school hygiene on my part.

cheers”

i will clarify that not all 1500 are coming out of responses to typeforms but are “Sheets via Document Studio” sends.

Hi John, yes, that’s the same as my experience and using the same setup, ie, Typeform > Sheets > Document Studio. If there’s some change, it seems to interrupt the routine and simply opening everything again resolves it. Good to know I’m not the only one that experiences this. Thank you for responding 😊
