in my videoASK i will need to ask a question for which i woudl want to allow the user about 8 min to provide a response - using the template, i can not set the response time to over 3 minutes , can i ovveride this via API or another method?

The only way around the time limit is to upload a video instead of recording the response via videoask. There isn’t a limit on the length of an uploaded video, only the file size.
