How do I make a typeform that doesn't go back and forth between questions?

Hi everyone

I was wondering if someone could please help me. I’m new to typeform and I’m trying to create a quiz.I want to base the questions off of a video but I don’t want people to be able to go back to the video. I want the video to play and they can’t move on to the next question before the video is finished or go back to the video to find answers.

If anyone can assist with this it will be much appreciated thank you.

@ThanaG - welcome to the community..

you could create this type of scenario in two separate  typeforms. the first to watch the video and then when they are done, they click the link below the video and are ‘redirected’ to the quiz typeform.

this would require using the ‘redirection on completion function’ as well as passing any hidden fields you want (if you have asked for name and email before the video for example, they would need to be passed to the second form in the URL used to get the user to the second form).

this would allow you to ‘physically’ separate the video from the questions but it does not guarantee that the user will have watched the entire video before clicking. you would need to provide that instruction to them on the typeform ie in the description field.

you should be able to search for both ‘redirection’ and ‘hidden fields’ posts here in the Community and in the Typeform Help Centre to find the details about how to use both of these functions

Thank you so much!

I have not tried it yet as I have only reviewed this response now, but I will make sure to try it and give some feedback
