Can't select the score variable in calculations

I want to add 1 to the score when the both answeres in a multiple choice question are selcted correctly, but the field where I am supposed to select the variable to which to add the score to is inactive. When I add a custom variable I can select it, but not @score which I want.
It would be very great if someone of you has a solution for this or a different idea for my intention.

@pascallo33 - what i had been told about 2 years ago was that score is a ‘system variable’ that is used in the outcome type quizzes.

create a custom variable and use that - as you have noted. that is what will work

Hi @pascallo33 Thanks for stopping by! Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the options it shows you when trying to click the dropdown here?

Hi, thanks for answering.
That’s the thing. I can’t. It’s inactive. It only works when creating a custom variable but then only the custom one shows up and not the score variable.
