Can I upload subtitles for the videos I'm uploading

Uchiki

I have scripts for the videos that I’m uploading.

It would be nice to be able to upload the scripts as subtitles and then have then auto-synced like youtube.

The videoask auto-generated subtitles were reasonable for English, but poor for Turkish.

I can go through and copy paste script fragments to edit/correct the CC, but this is time consuming.

Hey @Uchiki  great feedback, thank you for sharing this.

At the moment it’s not possible to upload captions/subtitles to a videoask but I have added it to our feature request board to be considered in future planning.

I know some people use an external video editor to add subtitles and then upload the video to the videoask step as a workaround, not sure if this would work for you but it could be worth a try to save some time with the Turkish captions?

Seconding @Uchiki ‘s request. Our videos are in American Sign Language and therefore do not have any voiceover to pull auto-generated captions from. We frequently use SRT files with our videos as they are the most accessible solution for people using screen readers.
