bilingual questionaires 🇩🇪🇬🇧

Is it possible to create bi-lingual questionnaires on Typeform? I want to start a new questionnaire, where the user can choose in the beginning, if he/she wants to answer in German or English...

@bjoernhesse - welcome to the community from a fellow user.

yes it is possible to create and deploy bilingual typeforms. Here is an example of one that i created that has French and English (dismiss the welcome page as it is in English only but the first question after is the choice between languages..

hope this helps

I need to create a bilingual form in which answers on questions in each language are automatically put together, Now I can only choose one language in the settings. The workaround above with a language choice screen and logic jumps is nice but not handy when collecting a lot of responses to be put together afterwards. Any ideas or developments coming up?

@j.grillet - here is a sample of what i did for a covid ‘assessment’ to send kids to school in three languages… started with a typeform to choose the language and then redirected on completion of that form to the individual language versions in english spanish and french..

that might work for you..

I expect +1000 answers to participate in a general assembly. I am looking for a solution to have an overview of the anwers of attendees independent of the chose language. Do you see a solution? MS Forms offers the possibility but I would like to use Typeform.

@j.grillet - if you are looking for something to collect all the inputs from the different language forms into a single ‘data set’, you could connect each of the 3 different language forms in my example to the same google sheet - each form would create a separate tab in the sheet BUT you can consolidate them all into a single tab/sheet with a mix of languages for the answers in single column per question.

however, you would need deal with the ‘translation’ of the answers into a common language if you need it in that fashion.. typeform won’t do that
