Where is data stored for European companies ?

Hello everyone ! 

I know that Typeform’s servers are based in the US, with a backup in Germany. 

For European companies, do you know if the data is also transferred to the US ? Or it all goes only to the German servers ?

    Hi I have a similar question. 
    I can see that the article shared says the Main Servers are in Virgina USA.
    But where is IT support handled from? Which countries or regions? 
    As they will presumably have access to my data as well
