Have you explored using variables yet?
With variables, you should be able to pass through the student’s information to VideoAsk. Then, using webhooks in VideoAsk, you could send each student’s response data back to Open edX.

What LMS do you use, and how do you want to integrate videoask?
If you simply want to embed a videoask into your LMS, you can do that as long as you can insert custom HTML code into your LMS.
If you want to send data from videoask to LMS (and vice versa), that’s possible provided that your LMS has an open API.

We use Open edX as LMS and it has open APIs. The HTML insert functionality is not enough because it does not capture the user from the LMS and it does not send back a status of the submission to the LMS. Connecting via LTI should allow a student to send a video response as an assigment from a course, and get its corresponding grading.
