propose choices based from past replies

I’m trying to figure out whether it is possible to automatically expand lists of choices in a form based on other people answers.

Is it possible? and if yes how?

Hi @aurelien Thanks for stopping by! This is a really great question and an interesting idea. We don’t currently have a way offhand to show choices based on answers people have previously provided, but would you mind sharing a bit more about your setup? I’ll try to think of a workaround!

typically:

what is your favorite color?

  • blue
  • red
  • other

if one user were to type “orange” then, “orange” would appear as a choice

Hi @aurelien Ohhh, I see. So if a user enters a different color in the ‘other’ section, then it would appear as a response. I’m afraid I can’t think of a workaround for that that wouldn’t involve manually editing the form each time a new response is submitted. :\ I know that’s not very helpful, but if you have any other questions, I’m happy to answer!
