In a situation where we do not collect a user’s name/email (for instance, if we wanted their responses to be completely anonymous), how can we set up our Typeform so that it assigns each person a unique user ID and that unique user ID is passed along to Typeform/VideoAsk?

Hi @Davin Happy Friday! Typeform already assigns a unique response ID to each submission, which you can find when you export the results. Would that work for you?

Maybe. If User A completes Typeform 1 and is redirected to Typeform 2 with user_ID as a hidden field, will their user ID be identical when we export results from both 1 and 2?

Hi @Davin The Response ID is unique to each form, so it wouldn’t be possible to have the same one for every submission. In that case, you would need to create your own numbering system to label each of the respondents with.
