Best practices to embed Typeform on a service-based website?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a business setup consultancy website and using Typeform to capture leads and enquiries.

Currently, we’ve embedded Typeform on our website for consultation requests, but I want to improve conversion rates and user flow.

My questions:

  • Is it better to use multi-step forms or short forms for high-intent users?

  • Any tips on placement (homepage vs landing pages)?

  • Should we redirect users after submission or keep them on the same page?

Would love to hear what’s worked best for you.

Hi @John H welcome to the community 😊

I don’t see a Typeform embedded on your website, could you point us to the page it’s on?

Hi, @John H !

In short, for lead gen, I would recommend short forms on whichever pages you have lower-funnel, high-intent traffic. That is likely your homepage and any landing pages that you link to from paid search (or possibly high-ranking organic search destinations).

Check out these articles for more tips, including a case study on what we did on Typeform’s own primary lead gen form.
