Question

Branching and impact on buttons

Hello there

I’ve built a fun quiz for my team for a Christmas Party and there is one sticking point.  Is there a way to go from a statement which tells the player their score to the Ending without losing the Button text?

I’ve typed in various Christmassy phrases to match the performance of the player in three slides and the Preview only states ‘What’s my Score?’ for each one when I test it.  Is there a way around this?  I’ve tried to add an extra slide, to bridge the gap between the scoring and the Ending, and adjust the Branching but then that Button says ‘What’s my Score?’!

I tried to amend the Branching through the AI Chat but it changed key parts of my quiz which I wasn’t happy with.

It’s worth noting that I’m using the free part of Typeform and am not paying for the more complex services, as this is just a one-off use for fun.

Any tips would be gratefully received!

@SarahM - use a custom variable that you will need to create and then a logic rule to populate the variable with a statement based on which statement page or score you have ...you can then use the @recall function to display the content of the variable

Thanks so much, Des.

I’m very new to creating Typeforms so is there any way you could explain how to achieve what you suggested?!  If there’s some guidance somewhere, feel free to point me in the right direction!
