How do I build a pre-survey that is dated with a post survey six months later? I want to to begin once the survey is completed and capture that date for the participant when they take the pre-survey.

@Ablevalor - would suggest that you if you are wanting to compare the data from participants from two separate passes through the survey,  that you connect the survey to a Google sheet and have the data available for you to connect using their email address as the common key.

that is simplest way to do it.

you could create the original and then duplicate it and connect both to the same google sheet. when the user takes the surveys, the data will be recorded on the separate tabs. you can then pull them together on yet another tab for analysis. you would use your crm solution to track the timing between first and second forms, sending out an email with the link to the second survey for the followup by the participant.

just a couple of random thoughts

Hi @Ablevalor! Des’s suggestion is the currently the simplest way to do it. We’re exploring ways to support multi-form aggregation to support cases like yours and then find ways to analyze the data within Typeform. Would you be open to chatting me + another product manager at Typeform about what you’d like to see here? We have prototypes we’d also be able to share with you for your feedback :)

Here’s a Typeform to schedule time with me.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Sun
