Hi,

when a respondent press ENTER in a 1 to 10 scale question, by default the answer is 1.

So 3 questions:

1-can we change the default value of ENTER in that scale?

2-if not, can we modify the 1 to 10 scale to icnlude 0 and assing ENTER the 0 value

2-if not, at least is it possible to include and option of N/A

Thank oyu for your help

@vid - I am assuming this is an Opinion question as we cannot see this in the image.

if this is correct, you can easily set the default (the first possible entry) to 0 - see the image below:

@vid - welcome to the community from a fellow user

if the user simply hits enter without choosing a value, it will pick the first value in the series.

What type of question are you using? if you are using an Opinion question, you can have the first value as a zero?

if you are using a Matrix question you can assign one of the columns to be a NA

please show a screen shot of your current question as this will make it easier for us to assist.

thanks

That’s what I’ve done but I think it is much more elegant and sense full with an N/A option.

It is such a pity this lack of function.

Thanks anyway

@vid you could use the label options shown in the image above to put N/A over the 0…. but i do understand your thinking.
