How can I set up a follow up to respondents, with the email I collect within the Type form (no hiddenfields)

Hey Community,

so actually this should be very easy… I want to do set up a follow up like an email to respondents, with the email I collect within the Type form (no hiddenfields). Because in before I dont have any email of the lead. So I want to do it like in this Video: https://www.typeform.com/help/a/send-follow-up-messages-to-your-respondents-or-yourself-13610123653396/

But… when I want to follow the instructions of the video I get this message for an follow up:

“To send an email to the address provided by the respondent, add an Email question or Hidden field to your form.

Go back to 'Create' to do this.”

But I dont have this data for this hidden fields!… Hope you can help me!

Hi @saurefrucht Happy little Friday! I hope you’re having a good one!

To set up a follow-up email, you will need to have an email question in order to send emails to your respondents. Without this, typeform won’t know where to send those notifications!
