Hello, I’m new to this forum and to Typeform.

I noticed that when filling in my form on a mobile phone, sometimes swiping up/down can result in the Typeform proceeding or going back to the next/previous question, automatically. Also, when you click an answer, it automatically jumps to the next question, so that makes the “OK”-button redundant.

Is there a way in which you can manually choose between the automatic proceeding and the proceeding upon clicking the OK-button?

Thanks,

Mieke

Hi @IPFeducation We don’t have this feature available, but I can share this request with the product team! Additionally, it might be helpful to use a solution like the one below to prevent respondents from moving forward:

Hi Liz,

Thanks for your response. It’s interesting to see the Logic Loop solution for avoiding people to move forward in the form. However, the problem, in my case, goes for both moving forward and backward when they swipe up/down - I don’t mind if they move through the type form (back & forth), as long as that is the thing they want to do, but the problem is - at least when I embed the form in my website - that sometimes a user wants to scroll up or down (to read the full question or array of answers within the embedded space), and then accidentally goes back to the previous or following question.

But thanks for the tip, it’s interesting to see and worth considering whenever I may need it!

Hi @IPFeducation Oh got it, makes sense! I’ll share this feedback with the product team. Hopefully the workaround works for those attempting to peek forward in the form!
