To turn off Private Form


Hi there,

I have an issue with this form: https://form.typeform.com/to/jaDMLg it is set as private and I cannot turn it into public. Does anyone know how to do so?

Hi @stephane DEUBEL It looks like you’re in the right spot though! You just need to switch the form to on or if you haven’t already, you’ll need to first click the publish button. Let me know if clicking the publish button doesn’t work!


@Liz you are great. This form as been unpublished because Typeform changed my plan and I cannot get the trial features anymore… I just understood what happened!! Pfff I pay for I don’t know what… Ridiculous. Do you know how to reach their customer service? I want to understand what is included in the plan I pay…

Hi, I’m experiencing the same issue. However, this solution doesn’t seem to work for me. My form is published and open for responses, but sometimes, randomly, I see the message: "Sorry, you can't access this Typeform until its creator says so."

Hi ​@an197811 Do you happen to see this on a certain browser or device? Any further information on when/how you see the message would be handy! Also, if you embed the form, do you mind sending the URL where the form is embedded?

Hi Liz,

Yes, I am having this issue in the Chrome browser on my iMac. It works fine when I open it in Safari.
I cleared cookies and browser history to try and fix it, but that didn’t help.
I didn’t embed the form, I just linked to it.

Thanks, ​@an197811 ! I asked our tech team about this, and they stated this usually happens if the link isn’t embedded or shared correctly. Do you mind giving a bit more info on how the form is linked on your website?

Thank you ​@an197811 ! This helps a lot. When we test it, it seems to be working, however, do you mind trying in incognito mode? That’ll help us see if it’s just Chrome or the device itself!

Thank you @Liz! I just tried it in incognito mode and it works fine. So it seems to be a bug in my Chrome?

Ok, then yes, that might be it! Are you able to clear your cache/cookies on Chrome to see if it works without needing to use incognito, ​@an197811 ?
