Yes | No | Other

Hello

I’m wondering if someone can help please? I have a question

Which do you prefer?
A) Water
B) Coke
C) Other

How do i get the other to appear and have an input box for the user to state which other?
Thanks

@paul.jason - when the form is published and the user clicks on the Other option, they will have the input area displayed to them at that point.

you might want to tell the user that in the description area of the question, along with a statement that they will need to either click the check mark at the right hand side of the Other input box or the enter key when done adding, in order to register their statement

@paul.jason - welcome to the community from another user.

I see from your other post that you are not excited about the new interface.. to clarify your question above, are you using the newest builder just announced with the side bar on the right hand side?

If you are, then you will see something like the image below where you can find the toggle for the Other option in the multiple choice. you will see that i have toggled it on and and the other option appears

hope this helps

Hi Des

Thanks for the reply, hugely appreciated. No I prefer the old layout, far more intuitive…

Yes I am using the newest version. I can see other and can do that but how do I get it to then automatically add an input field under the ‘other’ option without leaving the page? Or am I having to add another questions set by logic?
Thanks, P
