I created a first scenario in French and then I duplicated it to turn it into English.
When I changed the subtitles for the English version, the subtitles also changed in the French scenario and I do not understand why.

Subtitles are linked to the video itself, rather than the “instance” of the video.
If you want to use different subtitles for the same video, you’ll want to upload the same video again.
Essentially, you want to have two “unique” versions of the same video in your media library. Once you have two versions, you can edit the subtitles in each independently of each other.
