Is it possible to limit salesforce sync to records that have changed or been created since the last sync date/time? It seems like a lot of useless API processing to re-submit information that is exactly the same as what’s already in SFDC.

Thanks

Walter

Hi @Wally Thanks for stopping by the community! We don’t currently have this feature in Salesforce, but if there’s any specific use case you’d like to share regarding this, we’re all ears!

Well… there are two significant use-cases I can think of

  1. For pure lead-gen purposes, once someone fills out a form and becomes a lead in saleforce, I have no need to “re-sync” them if none of their data has changed.
  2. We have a specific use-case where our sales team uses Typeform to answers questions about a lead to qualify it. Their responses are sent back to SFDC. Same as #1, once a lead has been qualified, there’s little if any need to re-sync it back to salesforce unless the record (in typeform) has changed

Salesforce tends to be stingy with their API allotments - so it’s generally not a good idea to keep using API calls for data that’s already in SFDC

Hope this helps

Hi @wpaliska Ah, thank you! Tagging @kabir.mathur and @picsoung for some visibility.
