Hey,

We setup a custom Domain for a brand, if there is the videoask-slug behind the slash it works fine.

According to https://www.videoask.com/help/branding/360046795732-how-to-set-up-a-custom-domain-in-videoask#h_01FXSREA77HZK43SYV4GHVJPDZ:~:text=https%3A//whatever.mydomain.com)%20will%20automatically%20redirect%20to%20your%20brand%27s%20redirect%20URL.

 

It should redirect to the brands “redirect url” but it doesnt, instead it links to videoask.com

The Issue is in different brands. Anyone an idea ?

it works fine, but when you open https://dachdeckerei-walther.kundenberater.digital/

You are on the Videoask instead of the customers website :(

Hi @Daniel Habich, has this been resolved? I had a similar issue and had to setup a separate subdomain for the Videoask form (which isn’t really ideal).

Wondering if there’s a better way to resolve it.

Hi @Gene.C the support team are doing some testing, it looks like this could be a bug with custom domains. I would recommend reaching out to the VideoAsk support team via the link I shared above, but I will drop back in here with any updates I get!


I’m having this same problem, has anyone found any workarounds? @Gene.C , could you share how did you manage to resolve it? Even not ideal is better than no solution at all. 🙂 Thanks!
