Will the “Basic” plan still include the calculator function of the old “Essentials” plan?

Yes, the Basic plan includes the Calculator for quizzes and payments so you should be able to achieve the same as you would do with the Essentials plan. Also, the Basic plan now includes Unlimited Logic Jumps (while the Essentials version would offer up to 3 of them).
