Hi, In the form we ask for the submitter’s name, and mark this question as required and even say that they need to fill this. Whenever we try, it does work and we need to fill something to continue the form.
However, in the published version we get result with an “-” from this field.
This specific question for the name I added later to the form. Could that be a reason? The link to the form is updated and cannot be the reason.

+6if you have the short text and/or the name field on the contact form marked as required, then a blank character (ie a spacebar) will not be accepted. however, if someone types in the ‘-’ (dash) character, instead of a name, then you would get the - in the field.
Are you looking at records prior to the name question being added and seeing the ‘-’- in those fields but completed in the responses going forward? i know that sounds a bit pedantic but just trying to make sure
