Embedding a typeform in Mighty Network

Hi everyone!

I run an online business that promotes books to our email list of 10k+

I recently started a Mighty Networks page to allow members to discuss, host events, and so on.

I am looking to drive new sign ups to both the Mighty Networks community space, but I also want to keep growing my mailing list.

I run a series of ads to try and recruit new readers, but I’m sort of torn about which URL to push: the typeform I use to join our mailing list, or the new Mighty Network page.

It would be great if anyone knows of a way to integrate the typeform to join the mailing list into the Mighty Network? Or if there’s another obvious solution that i’m missing?!

Hi @thebooknetwork You could use Zapier to connect the two together! For example, if they sign up for your community on Mighty Network, you could then have a zap that would add them to Mailchimp. I have a similar setup for a Circle community.

Hi @thebooknetwork Thanks for stopping by the community! I’m not super familiar with Might Network, so do you happen to know - is the mailing list separate than the user list on Might Network?

I saw there is a zap that could invite new members once a form is submitted, but I’m not sure if that relates to the mailing feature in Mighty Network.

@thebooknetwork - depending on your ESP/CRM…. Convertkit has just announced a ‘deep integration’ with Mighty Networks and they say that you can cross populate … if you use convertkit for email, you could push your typeform data via a zap into convertkit and through into Mighty networks that way and have both lists (email and membership) integrated there..

typeform forms are handsdown a lot more functional than the converkit ones and that is flow I am going to be checking out over the next month or so as my mailing list is on convertkit..

Hey @thebooknetwork how’s it going? Let us know if the suggestions from Liz & Des here were helpful, or if you have any more questions 😊

hi everyone! thanks so much for your thoughtful replies.

I did read about converkit, thanks @john.desborough ! however, I use Mailchimp, and would be very hesitant to switch out to a new ESP… so i’m not sure there is a simple solution to this one. It may just be a case of growing both channels separately…

Thanks Liz! That is definitely the best solution! Sadly I am not quite at the scale yet to have the business plan on Mighty Networks, so for now I am going to grow the platform natively and when the time comes i will know how to integrate!

thanks for your helpful answer!
