Fashion Survey/Quiz with Results

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hello!

I work for a jeweler and we would like to create a quiz/survey that will produce a result of curated products on our website. Has anyone done anything like this before? We’re looking to do something similar to this https://www.sofiakaman.com/wedding-style-quiz/

Is Typeform the right tool, and does anyone have pointers on the best way to create?!

Thank you!

@Lisa H. - thanks for the survey capture.. i took a quick look at it and it looks pretty ‘standard” in terms of driving someone through.. some thoughts about the sketching that might help:

  • start at the endings - what are the curated product(s) that you want to have as endings
  • walk backwards with 2/3 questions that will be used to ‘point’ someone to an ending
  • add in a couple of other questions for some clarification about the ‘shopper’ but not too serious - ie your first vacation destination coming out of covid: Disney, Yosemite, Hawaii, Tahiti or backyard (how much are they willing to spend.. sort of thing)

once you have those then you can sort out the logic pretty quickly

Hi @Lisa H. ,

Welcome to the community! I’m a fellow community member and although I haven’t created the outcome or result you’re requesting, I believe @john.desborough has based on other responses I’ve read from him. (He’s kind of a remarkable when it comes to Typeform 😊).

What you’re requesting is possible however I wanted to tag des so as to not attempt to steal his thunder trying to explain it.

I also found this article that walks you through how to do this on Typeform. While this shows only 2 outcomes, replicating the process allows you to create multiple outcomes as mentioned.

I hope the article and Typeform community member provide you the answers you need! 😊

@Lisa H. - welcome to the community from the ‘thundering one’ lol.. (thanks @vickioneill ) .. just another user here..

I was trying to check out the quiz at the link you post but either it is my machine or something is just not working at that quiz link.. so i really can’t comment on how you are comparing it.

Have you sketched out your questions and ‘logical path(s)’ on a napkin yet? sharing some of those ideas would be great and would help design out some of what you might be able to accomplish. In the meantime, i would suggest starting with this article from the Typeform Inspiration series - it might give you some ideas

@john.desborough & @vickioneill thanks for your responses!

100% correct, the quiz isn’t working anymore, welp….

I do have an idea/sketch of what we would like to do. In the meantime, I’ll take a look at the articles you suggested too.

Here is what the quiz in the link above looks like...

Great suggestions, des!

Starting at the end and working back with the options that qualify for each of the product outcomes is very helpful vs going forward with each question from the beginning.

Thanks for your responses, des, and for sharing the screen shots of the quiz, @Lisa H. !!
