About your first question, do you think the progress bar under the Settings icon would work for you? There's also an article in our Help Center that might help you with that! 
As per your second question, as you mentioned, you can add your logo in your background image. However, we advise you to avoid designing with a fixed window width and height in mind, as screens will vary in sizes and shape depending on the device the typeform will be displayed on. Because of that, it isn’t possible to add banner images at the top or bottom of the typeform. Make sure to read this article to understand our options. I hope I was able to help!

I can’t see the progress bar with the Group Questions.

Unfortunately, the proportional option looks deprecated while new UI launching.
I’ve took a look at many of typeform’s blog articles and document and this is the latest reply I’ve got from another thread which
About my second question, I’ve already took a look at the article about the branding several times and try to apply background image but found it have a problem in mobile view, so gave up. I think I’ve mentioned that I’ve try to change the background image when I leave question. I hope someday Typeform allow customer put their custom logo at the exact position where the typeform branding appears.
Also, hope Typeform update article according to your new UI. Article about the old UI make us confusing.
