Hi there,

I have used Typeform for a few different quizzes I have set up. However, just recently in my newest Typeform the Branching and Calculations is running very slowly.

I was wondering if anyone else knows what’s up or if there is a way to fix this?

When I say slow I mean s l o w. It is almost as it it freezes after every input as I try to assign scoring to specific question/answer sets.

The rest of the website runs smoothly, all other site run smoothly. My internet speed was tested at over 500mbps so I can’t seem to figure out what this specific issue is but it is making my work slow to a crawl here.

Thanks in advance for any input everyone!

Cameron

I have found a temporary solution by editing the logic through the create screen.

Hi @Cameron Cogs Glad to hear you were able to find a solution in the meantime!

What browser/device are you using to edit your form? Additionally, approximately how many questions/logic jumps are on the form?

Hello! I’m experiencing this issue as well and I’m a little unsure on if I want to pay for the subscription. I just signed up last week. My company has to integrate over 50 different questions that involves multiple choice. Is there a malfunction on the software etc? If so, how long will this glitch be? I would unlikely go to another company, but if I have to because of how Sloooooowwwwwwwww it is, I will.

@TLCB - not saying there is nothing in the back end of Typeform but please remember that the latency in the network(s) can cause some slowness in responses. Corporate firewalls, local networks and the interweb unto itself can cause issues. Typeform is a browser-based solution at the user end and cache and available processing power can also play a technical issue in the perceived response times.

also, take a look at the design of your quiz - use partial submissions if/as possible, multiple forms that redirect from one to the next, shorten the number of questions and reduce the complexity. if you have added significant logic rules into the quiz you are also increasing the potential latency …

all things you need to consider in designing your quiz
