Hi all,
I’m working on a project where I use Typeform to collect survey responses, and I’m trying to set up reliable automation flows once someone submits a form. Specifically, I’d love to hear how others are handling one or more of the following challenges:
-
How do you trigger a downstream automation (e.g., sending a custom email, creating a record in a CRM, posting to Slack) immediately after a Typeform submission?
-
What tools or platforms do you use for this (native Typeform integrations, Zapier, Make/Integromat, custom Webhooks + code)? What pros/cons have you found?
-
Have you encountered issues with data mapping (e.g., hidden fields, custom metadata, complex answer types) when pushing Typeform responses into another system?
-
What best practices have you settled on to ensure your automation is resilient (handles failures, duplicates, conditional logic)?
-
If you’ve scaled this to a large number of submissions (hundreds or thousands/day), how have you optimized performance and error handling?
If you’ve got a real example or workflow you’re proud of (or one that taught you a lesson), I’d love you to share. Thanks in advance!
