Hi All, i would like to track what answers people are giving with the GA 4 data layer. How is this possible? I would like to see which campaigns are working for which answers. We work with different target audiences and we make a shifting in the typer forms https://iwell.nl/producten/#batterij-quick-scan

How can i track this?

Hi @TimoMedia Thanks for stopping by the community! We don’t currently send this information through Google Analytics, so I’m afraid this isn’t possible. I can share this suggestion with the product team. 😀

Hello @Liz ,

We have the same need. I think it’s important to add to your roadmap.
Without it we won’t be able create any audiences or personalized offers based on users answers.

My clients are turning to other paying solutions than TypeForm because of this point only and it’s easily fixable. It’s a low hanging fruit.

I understand that not every answer should be in the dataLayer (some could contain PII) but at least you could post the multiple choices, it’s unlikely to be used for nefarious purposes.

Thank you,

Liz

Hey @dtangen thanks for getting in touch. The native GA4 integration still does not capture or send the answer value. I’ll raise the issue again with our Product team and add your vote for it. Will ping here with any updates to the suggestion once we have it.

For now, for fully automated answer-level attribution into GA4, a custom integration via Typeform's API or middleware (e.g., Zapier/Make exporting responses and syncing to a BigQuery warehouse or similar—then visualized in Looker Data Studio or elsewhere) would be required.

Thanks!

James
