Hello everyone ðŸ‘‹

The new Workflow Builder is officially live, making it easier than ever to customize and automate your forms—all in one place. 🎉

We’ve transformed the Logic tab into a new Workflow tab, where you can:

  • Set up logic, branching & scoring
  • Connect to integrations
  • Configure URL parameters (previously hidden fields)
  • Create automated follow-up messages & more!

This update gives you more control, better organization, and a smoother workflow so you can build smarter, more effective forms in less time.!-->

Check out the video guide:

Previously when I was on a Question on the Content tab (e.g. Question 4), when I moved to Logic, I would automatically land on Question 4 so I could see immediately where the Question branched to.

Now when I move to Workflow, I am shown the whole of workflow map and not the speciifc question I was on. I then have to locate the Question I was working on and zoom in before I make any amendments. This is very time consuming and not an improvement.

Thanks so much for your feedback, @PDL2024 !

I completely understand how this change could make editing the logic for specific questions more time-consuming, especially in long forms.

We chose to default to the zoomed-out view to provide a full overview of the form’s workflow, but I can see how quickly navigating to the question you’re working on would be really valuable.

I’ll bring this feedback to the team and we’ll explore solutions to make this experience smoother.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts: it really helps us improve!

Do you have a timescale on this please? I am currently in the middle of a developing a form and this change has caused me a real problem as I have around 100 questions so it is not easy at all to navigate.

Thanks for your message, @PDL2024 .

I understand that navigating a form with around 100 questions can be challenging with the current setup.

I’m not able to commit to a specific timeline, as it will depend on the solution we prioritize, but I’ll be discussing this with the team tomorrow and will make sure your feedback is considered.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, you might find it quicker to edit logic via the Branching modal rather than navigating through the Workflow map.
You can access it by going to the Workflow tab and clicking "Branching" in the top left corner.

Hopefully this will help make editing a bit easier while we continue improving the experience.

Is there any progress on this issue? The change makes it a complete nightmare to navigate. I cannot see how anyone would benefit from the zoomed-out view. Thank you.

Hey @PDL2024 I’m following up with the product team to see what the latest is - will keep you posted!

Hi â€‹@PDL2024,

Thanks so much for your patience and for taking the time to share your feedback.

The good news: we’ve reviewed your request internally and decided to move forward with it—it’s officially on our roadmap!

That said, I want to be transparent: the ability to more easily edit branching for specific questions in longer forms won’t be available in the immediate future. Our team is currently focused on delivering new features we think you’ll love (stay tuned!). We absolutely recognize the value of this request, and while it’s not happening in the next few weeks, it’s definitely something we intend to tackle.

In the meantime, it would be incredibly helpful to learn more about how you’re using Typeform and any other challenges you might be facing. Would you be open to a quick chat?

Thanks again for being part of the journey with us.
