Our team is considering using a waitlist for prospective users of our product! Unfortunately, TypeForm doesn’t have this kind of function, so we’ll need to use a third-party provider of a waitlist.

As part of that, we’re wondering if ya’ll have advice on whether we should have folks enter their email to the waitlist, and THEN complete the TypeForm signup questions to get bumped up higher up the waitlist? OR fill out the TypeForm signup questions in order to join the waitlist? (Does anyone the relative impact of TypeForm signup completion if users have to complete the entire form just to get on a waitlist?)

Hi @ResearchRabbit ,

I always recommend the path that creates the best user experience. Have you mapped the options?

Hey @ResearchRabbit

May companies have been using Typeform successfully to gather interests for their product and maintain a “waitlist”.

Once the data has been collected it’s really up to you to determine who should get prioritized. Superhuman has achieved this with great success and is really inspiring.

other examples also include Fig, Balsa or Amie.

Most folks have decided to implement a simple “email box” on their site that then triggers a typeform with a email hidden field.

Inside the typeform you can score their answers using calculations: ex: if your app is only available on iOS, give 1 point if they say they have an iPhone or an iPad and 0 if they have an Android.
