Hi Typeform Community 👋

We are delighted to share the winners of our first ever Typeform Awards! 🏆

Back in September we invited our wonderful community of form creators to submit a typeform to be considered for an award. We were looking for innovative, effective, and creative uses of Typeform and boy oh boy did we get them!

A team of Typeform experts were invited to be part of the judging panel after entries closed on October 23rd. We revealed the winners at a special awards ceremony, closing yesterday’s Typeforum event.

So without further ado, here are the winners:

Typeform of the Year Award 🥇

ClimateHero

ClimateHero’s carbon calculator quiz has helped over 1.4 million people calculate their carbon footprint and discover ways to reduce emissions and take action for the planet. The form has an outstanding completion rate, is well designed with an incredible use of logic which helps to make the respondent experience a lot of fun!

If you haven’t tried the quiz yet, we highly recommend giving it a go!

Marketer of the Year Award 📈

Hometown

The team at Hometown implemented Typeform to help with a number of key campaigns and evergreen marketing operations, including a referral program which yielded an amazing 75% conversion rate!

Research Excellence Award 🧠

Reckon

Kelly Jennings and Kristina Hedberg at Reckon, created a customer survey with Typeform to better understand their users. The data they gained helped to feed product strategy and set benchmarks for CSAT, NPS, and CES. The team were so pleased with the results they plan to make it an annual survey.

Changemaker of the Year Award 🌎

Canada Gives

Delaney Morris, Administration & Process Manager at Canada Gives, built an embedded application form for the BC Conservation & Biodiversity Awards. Switching from a PDF-based solution, Delaney said Typeform allowed the team to “bring organziation, simplicity and meaning” to the application process.

Best Interactive Content Award 🎮

Utilitac

Joe Manno,Visionary at Utilitac Equipment & Upfitting, created an interactive experience for buying commercial vehicles. The typeform guides buyers through the process by presenting all the vehicle specification options in one place while showing prices changes as they go through the form!

Startup of the Year Award 🚀

Journee

The team at Journee built a typeform questionnaire that matches people with surprise trips. Travelers fill out the questionnaire with their travel preferences and find out where they’re going when they get to the airport!

And finally, a very special recognition…

Community Champion Award 🌟

John “des” Desborough

@john.desborough has been an active member of the Typeform Community since its launch in 2020. In this time he’s helped thousands of people finesse their logic jumps, build time-saving workflows and get more value from Typeform. He tells a mean dad joke too!

In case you missed it, you can re-watch the Typeform Awards ceremony here:

A huge congratulations to all our incredible winners! 👏👏👏👏

Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to enter, it was incredible to see so many thoughtful and creative typeforms.

We look forward to doing it all again next year! 🎉

Yes, but I should’ve done it earlier b/c there’s a kink to sort out in the form I attempted to submit, @Grace @James  🫣

I was particularly impressed with Joe Mannos vehicle builder - does anybody know how he managed to achieve a price calculation in the header of the typeform?

Hey @Livska I agree – it’s super cool, right? It’s possible to display a running total like this using a combination of the calculator and variables, recalling your score/price variable in each question description. A bit like this:

However, unfortunately I’ve no idea how Joe managed to add the score to the header in the way he did in his form, it looks great!

@Livska @James

All questions are within a question group that has the score recalled within the header
