Customer view when it reaches the response limits


Hi,

I am wondering what our customer see when we hit the response limitation, can they continue to submit(but we cannot see result)? or are they not allowed even to submit when the form reached limitation?

We are currently just on trial so considering use Essential plan first, which has response limit 1000/month.

 

If I could know what our customer actually see when the form hits limit, it helps to improve our customers’ experience.

That's a very good question. :) When you reach 100% of your response limit, your typeforms will go into Private mode. Your respondents will see a message similar to the one below:

 

Those forms will automatically become public again when the next month begins or you upgrade your account. You can delete your responses, of course, but this won't affect your monthly response total.

 

Also, we will notify you by email and inside your Typeform account, when you reach 90% and 100% of your limit. Hope this clarifies your question =)

Are the 1st 100 responses data going to disappear in my dashboard in the free plan version if we exceed the limit???

No, they won't disappear from your account if you exceed the limit. :) You won't be able to collect more responses, as I have mentioned above, but the collected ones will remain there.

Hi everyone

What happens if I go slightly over my 100 response limit in the starter account I have? Can I pay for extra responses or do the extra respondents get stopped from using the survey (not ideal)

What I’d like to know is what happens when/if the 100 response limit needs to be exceeded on one occasion? Can I pay for extrra credits or will the survey stop working after 100? If I needed to upgrade or pay more, that’s fine but don’t want to go up a subcription just in case

Hi @Kristianlb ! You’ll receive an email once your account is about to reach 100 responses. If you’d like to collect more responses, you’ll need to upgrade your plan.

Hi @annalisa The only preview would appear when you’re setting up the message, but I can ask our Help Center team if they could add an example of what that would look like to the corresponding article. 😀
