Autosave not working for embedded typeforms

@mathio do you happen to know if this feature changes in embedded forms? I haven’t seen this, but I could have missed something!

The feature should work for embedded forms too. Keep in mind that the questions will be pre-filled with previous answers, however the respondent will need to start from the beginning each time. The feature might not work in incognito browsers.

Can you please share your website where you are experiencing the issue?

August 2024: Was there a solution? Our embedded typeform is having a similar issue. We don’t know if the client used an incognito browser or not. 

The client gave us this feedback “Kicked me out twice as I was looking up data and did not saving anything - had to start over again.”

Thanks for sharing those.
I just went ahead and tested your form, and the autosave function worked as expected.
It worked both in this thread with the embedded form and on a blank HTML page copying your embed code.

Could there be something in the code of your page that prevents this feature from functioning?
Could it be a strict ad blocker preventing the storage of data in LocalStorage (what we use to store users’ progress)?

Also, the user must access the typeform from the same device. If I open the form on mobile and desktop, I will get two different responses.
