I’m currently working on a Spanish-language technology project focused on Android TV, Smart TV, TV Box devices, app compatibility, installation guides, updates, and troubleshooting.
I’m thinking about using Typeform to collect structured feedback from users so I can better understand the problems they face and improve the guides based on real experiences.
For example, I would like to ask users things such as:
• Which device are you using?
• Which Android or TV version do you have?
• What type of problem are you experiencing?
• Did the installation complete successfully?
• Does the app open correctly?
• Are there problems with remote-control navigation?
• Are you seeing a specific error message?
• Which troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
• Did the guide solve your problem?
I’m also considering using conditional logic so users only see questions relevant to their device or issue.
For example:
Android TV users could receive Android-specific questions.
Smart TV users could be asked about their TV brand and operating system.
Users reporting installation problems could receive a different set of questions from users reporting playback or login issues.
My main goal is to keep the form simple enough that people actually complete it, while still collecting enough useful information to identify common problems.
I would really appreciate advice from experienced Typeform users:
1. Would you use one large form with conditional logic or several smaller forms?
2. How many questions would you normally consider reasonable for this type of technical feedback?
3. Is there a good way to organize responses by device type and issue category?
4. Would you recommend using multiple-choice questions first and then allowing users to add detailed comments?
5. What has worked best for you when collecting technical support or product feedback?
