Hi,

Is it possible to link directly from a button to another URL from your homepage?

Thanks,
Bart

Hi @BartX You can do this on the ending screen. Our article here can walk you through the ending screen options. 😀

Okay yes but that's not the landing page. Or can you also let people land on the ending screen? @liz

Are you referencing the welcome screen as the landing page, @BartX ? The only button we have to redirect outside the form is on the ending, which can be seen after the respondent has clicked the submit button. You could hyperlink text in the questions and their descriptions.

@Liz — Similar, yet different issue than above, but feel it is probably better to ask YOU here, than to create a whole new post. Please visit this one-question Typeform. I would like for a user to simply click/tap one of the answer options and immediately be redirected to the corresponding URL. But, as you will see, instead of being immediately redirected, a Submit button will appear that one must click first. Is there an explanation for this? Or anything I’m missing? Or any tips or workaround advice you can offer? I’m trying to avoid the poor UX of requiring a redundant click/tap. Thanks in advance for your thoughtful assistance.

Hi @vlade Thanks for stopping by! The submit button is present on all forms to ensure the respondent is ready and willing to submit their data. It is not possible to remove this button.

Thanks for getting back to me, @Liz. I think I understand now. A Typeform with >1 multiple choice questions will immediately auto-fwd from question to question upon the user selecting an option, but if the multiple-choice question is the last (or in this particular case, only) question in a Typeform, then it won’t. Or perhaps I can say it better like this: each Typeform must have a final SUBMIT. Is that correct?

Hi @vlade Yes, every Typeform has a submit button, and it’s not possible to remove this button. You can edit the button text to give a wee bit of flexibility to its appearance.

Hey there, I have a similar type of a question. Is there a way to add a redirect button to a TypeForm that is closed? I would love to message users about the end of the research or onboarding and direct to a different place.

Or, as somebody else mentioned above, is there a way to have a redirect button on the first Welcome screen or any other regular screen with that button. I don’t seem to see that option. the only thing that is available is using the End Screen with the redirect button, but this forces you to have at least one extra step before that which is kind of funky.

Any suggestion or help on this would be appreciated.

-Mika

Hi @mikakozma That is a great idea! We don’t have this option on the closed message, however you could manually enter the URL here (not the best option, I know):

Either way, I’ll add your vote for this feature, and if you don’t mind sharing a bit about your use case, that would be great!
