Can I remove an @recall underline in a question?

I have more than one thread of questions that go to recap pages, so a line appears on the recap page from the thread that wasn't used by the customer. Can I remove the line?

Hi @TFJunkie Nice to see you here again! If an answer hasn’t been provided to a recalled item, it will generate the blank link like you’re seeing. Unfortunately, we don’t have an option to remove this if an answer isn’t provided, but you could use logic jumps to show different endings based on answers.

I understand. At this stage after working with variables over the last 5 days. I’m a little overwhelmed with the amount of time spent tweaking my form.

I’m sure there are clever work arounds, but they are at this stage out of my capability. Once I sort out my variable issue. I will work on a test form to streamline the recap pages and remove the lines.

I, at a later date, also want to change the form where it will leave out the current choice from the multiple choice list, when they move to another chance to pick another course. So the course they already picked doesn't show up anywhere in the form again (only on recap pages).

The great thing about this platform is the forms are ever evolving and can grow with your business. I just need to get better versed with the intricacies of the system. :)

Let me know how that goes, @TFJunkie . Looking at your other post, the form you created is so impressive! I can’t wait to see what else you build. :grinning:

Aww, thanks. I can't wait too. I enjoyed the process and I was bragging a bit to my wife as well, LOL.

Hey There,

I do have a typeform which I am using as contact form for our coworking space. So we have different point of entrys, sometimes we get hidden variables submitted with which we jump to the correct start and have the correct questions.

But some of the questions are always asked, so there I want to work with the information I receive which is a hidden variable OR the answer of a question before, but I never have both.

So my question looks like this (I always have the hidden field @raumart or the Answer to the question before, but never both. In creation my questions looks like:

The way I use the logic and the hidden fields is working fine technically, but the result which our customer is seeing seems like this if I have used the data out of the hidden field:

So, my question: Does anybody know how to eliminate the ______ which is a placeholder for the question that has no answer (for example replace ___ with   or something like this)? Because it looks terrible the way we have it now.

Looking forward to your answers, thanks in advance for your help

Martin

Which post is that?

I’m trying to add in a recall of someone’s name from previous question. This works fine unless they don’t add their name and just skip that question. So you get a blank space 👉 ‘Okay _______, ...’.

Is there anyway to remove this blank space so it just says ‘Okay, ...’?

Cheers!

Hi,

I have a typeform that uses an “Address” question
I have marked Line 2 as optional
At the end of my typeform, I redirect my user to an external URL that contains the result of “Address Line 2” recalled in the URL

When this field is left empty, it defaults to “_____” (five underscore / low dash caracters). This is unexpected as I would need an empty field (or at least an empty string such as “ “)

How can I resolve this please ?

Thanks Liz for your answer. The issue is that the “Address” fields value are not available in logic jumps.
How can I work around this please ?

Hi @Matt33000 I’m afraid we don’t have a workaround for the address fields at this time, but I can share this concern with the product team.

Yes please that would be great.

As things stand now the only solution I can see is not to use the “Address” field and replace it with several questions asking separately for all the fields in “Address”. That’s really not great from a user perspective…

Kind regards
